Gothic Churches

I wasn't able to print it this week so I decided to put it up on my webblog! This art-assignment is going to be about the Canterbury Cathedral and Gothic architecture in general. I did some research on the gothic architecture and have searched for some pictures to post on my blog.

"Gothic architecture is a style of architecture that flourished during the high and latemedieval period. It evolved from Romanesque architecture and was succeeded by Renaissance architecture.
Originating in 12th century France and lasting into the 16th century, Gothic architecture was known during the period as "the French Style," (Opus Francigenum), with the term Gothic first appearing during the latter part of the Renaissance. Its characteristic features include the pointed arch, the ribbed vault and the flying buttress."

Shoe design

For this assignment we had to pretend we were shoe designers. We had to design and sell shoes to the fabricater. My mark for this assignment was a 7, which is okay in my opinion =).
